Caregiver Education and Training

Caregiver Education and Training gives spouses, adult children, and paid caregivers the skills to support a loved one safely, without guessing or hoping you are doing it right. We come to the home, watch how you currently help with walking, standing, and transfers, then gently coach you through safer, easier techniques.

You learn how to guard on stairs, when and how to use gait belts or mobility aids, and simple cues that build your loved one's confidence instead of feeding fear. We also review key home safety points and basic fall‑prevention strategies, so you know what to watch for between visits.

By the end, caregivers feel more secure, and the person you care for feels more supported and less anxious. Families often tell us this training eases tension at home and helps everyone work together toward the same goal: staying safe and independent as long as possible.
